Job Title: Junior Cyber Security Engineer

About Us: At 2Hackers, we're dedicated to protecting our clients' digital assets through innovative cybersecurity solutions. We're seeking a motivated Junior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in London and contribute to our mission of safeguarding against cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity solutions to protect client networks and systems.
  • Monitor security systems for anomalies and potential threats, responding to incidents as needed.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in client infrastructure.
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of security tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement security best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least one of the following certifications:
    • CompTIA Network+
    • SolarWinds Certified Professional
    • Wireshark Certified Network Analyst
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security)
    • Network+ Certification
    • Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT)
    • Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work onsite in London.
